Partner Pint: You'll Dig This

The Pale Ale to put on your short list.

digbottle_400Want to know one of the more beautiful things about craft beer? Seasonality. Like our college sports, we love to drink beer everyday, but we especially love the changing of the calendar. In the beer world that means pairing our palates and pollen counts along beer styles, from spicy brown Oktoberfests in Fall to serious strong ales and lagers in the winter and the requisite summer sipper. And when it's time to spring forward into the garden days? Enter Dig Pale Ale, from New Belgium, like sipping spring in a bottle.

With four distinct types of hops it's as dramatic as stormy sky. Sorachi Ace hops lend zesty lemongrass notes while Nelson Sauvins add bursts of passionfruit, mango, and peach. Rounding it out are two American favorites, Cascade and Centennial which impart citrusy, floral blasts. Dig in! We insist.

Winter's thawed. Spring is here. Time to get your hands dirty. Ready your bottle openers and pint glasses because New Belgium’s new spring seasonal is something you'll 100% Dig. We're totally into it and think you should bust open a bottle or four.
